A Membership Organization Dedicated to the Advancement of Yachting
The Yachting Club of America (YCA) was founded in 1963 as the National Association of Yacht Clubs. A principle set forth by founding members, including actor John Wayne, was to “serve the advancement of yachting.” The organization now represents more than 300,000 members of YCA-registered yacht and sailing clubs in America, and publishes the annual Register of American Yacht Clubs, the Reciprocity Guide, and The Oldest Existing Yacht Club Register in America. The Yachting Club of America is recognized by embassies throughout the world, providing helpful services to YCA members while traveling abroad.
